The United States Government Printing Office (GPO) has a requirement to procure paper, envelopes, and cartons to be delivered in various quantities some as small as one skid or pallet with delivery times as short as 8 hours. Deliveries will be required as needed on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis. This solicitation will cover a contract term for one year with approximately 20 items with an estimated quantity of 9 million pounds and 400 million sheets. Some of the items are 35, 40, 50, and 60-pound offset paper; white 25 and 50 percent bond paper; white and colored vellum cover paper; white and coloredindex paper; recycled xerographic copier paper; postal card paper; writing envelopes; and corrugated cartons. Secure real-time internet ordering must be available and periodic transaction reports will be required. Brand name or standard commercial grades are encouraged, provided they meet the Government's minimum quality requirements. This solicitation incorporates the Environmental Protection Agency's Paper Products Recovered Materials Advisory Notice (PAPER RMAN) and Executive Order 13103, "Greening the Government Through Waste Prevention, Recycling and Federal Acquisition".
