This is a Notice of Intent to make a Sole Source award under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Sole Source to BYU ISP Sports Network, 540 North Trade Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 for televising of select games during 2011 - 2012 football season on ESPN. This will be the only notice of the Government's intent to solicit and negotiate with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Other Than Full and Open Competition. Firms having the ability to provide this service should notify Jennifer Shaw in writing via e-mail to [email protected] by 5:00 P.M. MST on 15 March 2011. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
