The VA intends to solicit and negotiate with EBSCO, 10 ESTES ST, IPSWICH, MA, 01938-2106, USA; This request is for a first-time/one-time subscription to the following EBSCOHost Medical and Health Sciences Electronic Textbooks (also known as eBooks): Basic Skills in Interpreting Laboratory Data, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, Compounding Sterile Preparations, Core Curriculum for Pain Management Nursing, Preceptor's Handbook for Pharmacists, Role Development in Professional Nursing Practice, and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Healthcare. These eBooks will be made available throughout the VHA healthcare system via an enterprise-wide license (for electronic access) in order to insure uniform availability of high quality, medical and health sciences electronic textbooks across the VHA system to improve clinical decision making.
