The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single-source contract to NIVISYS in Tempe, Arizona for the procurement of the following:
TAM-14, Quantity: 419 each3X Afocal Lense, Quantity: 419 each
This single-source acquisition is necessary in order to support the need of the Customs and Border Patrol throughout the United States. This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the standardization of this requirement and NIVISYS is the only known contractor capable to supply the identical hardware/software equipment that is configured to be compatible with the current systems.
Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures as well as locate additional sources capable of fulfilling future requirements.
A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. If your firm believes it can fulfill the requirement, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above and the FAA will evaluate that information accordingly.
