This solicitation is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ) # 936492. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The Standard Industrial Classification is 7372, and the Business Size Standard is $21.0 million dollars. This will be a Firm-Fixed Price - One Time Buy contract. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302, with Datastream Systems, Inc., 50 Datastream Plaza, Greenville, SC 29605. Datastream Systems, Inc. is the manufacturer and sole qualified supplier of the MP2 proprietary software and maintenance product. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit bids. All bids received within (15) days after the date of this publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The requirement consists of (20) Maintenance for 20 MP2 user seats, (5) Five additional MP2 user seats and (1) Maintenance for MP2 server license.
