The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates awarding a sole source contract to the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) for services that will provide Metrocheks/Smartbenefits for BEP employees. WMATA is the only known source capable of providing the required services because it is the sole controller of Metrorail media used in the public transportation system of the Washington, D.C. Metro area. The period of performance will be a twelve (12) month base year plus four (4) 1-year option periods.
