The United States Government Printing Office (GPO) has a requirement to procure paper, envelopes, and corrugated containers. This Just In Time Contract will require the successful contractors to warehouse and deliver all the paper items in various quantities within 72 hours. Rush deliveries will be required as needed on a 24-hour, 7 days a week basis. This solicitation will cover a contract term for one year with two(2)one-year option periods. This solicition will contain approximately 50 different items with an estimated quantity of 10 million pounds; 400 million sheets; 50 million envelopes, and 100,000 corrugated containers. Some of the items are 35, 40, 50, and 60-pound offset paper; white 25 and 50 percent bond paper; white and colored vellum cover paper; white and colored index paper; recycled xerographic copier paper; postal card paper, kraft, writing, and bond envelopes; and corrugated containers. Brand name or standard commerical grades are encouraged, provided they meet the Government's minimum quality requirements. Daily transaction reports will be required. Thissoliciation incorporates the Environmental Protection Agency's Paper Products Recovered Materials Advisory Notice (PAPER RMAN) and Executive Order 13101, "Greening the Government through Waste Prevention, Recycling, and Federal Acquisition".
