The Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration Academy (FAA), Aviation Systems Standards, Resource Management Staff Branch (AVN-20), has an ongoing requirement for the acquisition of Jeppesen Sanderson Inc publications for national and international flights in support of International Flight inspection missions. The FAA through agreements and Public Law is responsible for flight inspection and certification of instrument flight rule (IFR) procedures and navigational facilities (both military and civil), and for supporting regulatory activities. These publications contain approach plates and charts in a digital format that are required to fly in international air space, and are available only from Jeppesen Sanderson Inc. National Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611710. The statutory authority for this acquisition is AMS 3.2.2.4, Single Source Selection. The FAA herein announces its intention to award a Requirements type contract to Jeppesen Sanderson Inc for supply requirements for one (1) base year and four (4) option years at a not to exceed ceiling of $300,000.00. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
