The US Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Aviation Weather Research Program (AWRP) is an initiative of the Air Traffic Organization's Operations Planning, Aviation Research and Development Office, Research Planning Group. The goal of the AWRP is to enable weather observations, warnings, and forecasts that are more accurate, accessible, and efficient, and to meet current and planned regulatory requirements. The FAA is conducting market research via a market survey to determine applied aviation weather research capability and interest of the private sector, universities, and research laboratories. This is an effort to identify organizations that can conduct applied aviation weather research and contribute to the achievement of AWRP goals. Interested parties should complete all parts of this document as instructed below. We also invite you to submit additional information to supplement the document that may offer greater insight about your organization and its capabilities.
