The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg, NC intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the design and installation of an Eternal Flame Memorial. The memorial will consist of, in part, Government provided granite rock with a requirement for a fabricated bowl cast from 300 lbs of Government provided steel. The requirement will entail the drilling of granite rock to allow installation of gas piping for an eternal flame display. Final assembly of the memorial will be on Fort Bragg, NC.

The RFQ will be a total set aside for Small Business Concerns. The resultant contract is expected to be a Firm Fixed Price Contract (FFP) with a period of performance of 10 weeks. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 327991 Cut Stone and Stone Product Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 employees. The Government anticipates issuing W91247-10-T-0129 on or about 27 August 2010 with a tentative closing date of 8 September 2010. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mailed and telephone requests will not be honored. The RFQ, if applicable, will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi.
