The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region, intends to solicit a contract for the supply of one Self-propelled, Full Track, Over-the-Snow Vehicle, with internal combustion engine of either diesel or gasoline, and design capabilities of operating with a net load of up to 1,500 pounds at an elevation of 11,000 feet (hereafter referred to as the "Snowcat"). (For more details please see Contract Clauses and the Statement of Work.) Offerors are hereby advised that funds are not presently available for this procurement, and that no liability on the part of the Government shall arise for submitting a bid. The Snowcat may be purchased with a one time payment or on a 5 or 7 year lease to own payment schedule.
