FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION Project Description: NAICS: 23511 Construction work will relieve the built up stresses in the mechanical and piping/plumbing systems. Work will include modifications to: chillers, boilers, hot water heaters, cooling towers, air handling units, fire sprinkler piping, storm drain piping, engine generator, lengthen existing neutral conductors in main panel, replace existing TVSS and Panel MDPE, and install expansion fittings on electrical equipment room. DIA TRACON is a 24/7 operational facility. Contract durations for completion of all work will be 42 calendar day after NTP. Contractor and subcontractor personnel must pass an FAA preliminary security check prior to beginning site work. The terms and conditions of this investigation will be included in the RFO package. Estimated price range is $250,000 to $500,000. The estimated issuance of the Request for Offers (RFO) is January 23, 2002 with the site visit scheduled for at 0900 hours, F! ebruary 6, 2002.
