SUBJECT: 40mm M433 One-Piece Liner The Army Contracting Command Joint Munitions and Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, on behalf of the US ARMY ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, NJ is seeking firms capable of fabricating 40mm M433 One-Piece Liner (Shaped Charge Liner) Assets. The 40mm M433 One-Piece Liner is a trumpeted shaped charge liner with a closed apex/snout and a flanged mouth end that is intended to be used in the M433 HEDP Projectile. Candidates shall be capable of the following: CAPABILITIES: Interested sources shall be capable of producing quantities of liners using a deep draw method. Shaped charge liners are being fabricated for the intent of developmental testing. Candidates shall be able to perform inspection of all dimensions that would be associated with a 40mm, trumpeted shaped charge liners. Final machining of liners after forming is not desirable however is permissible if necessary. EXPERIENCE: Prior experience in deep draw operations, especially in the field of shaped charge liners is desirable. Firms/companies are invited to indicate their capabilities by providing specifications, brochures, manuals, reports, demonstration video and other technical data as well as identification of current customers.
