The California Institute of Technologyâs Jet Propulsion Laboratory, operating under a prime contract with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), will host the 10th Annual Space Science Symposium at the Hilton Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia on June 4, 2007. The Symposium will provide an opportunity for small businesses to hear first-hand what NASA and JPLâs science and mission plans are for the future; present a comprehensive view of the agency and JPL; and highlight future Space Science and Earth Science programs and initiatives including associate business opportunities; and networking with NASA and prime contractors. Attendees will learn what skills, resources and technologies are needed to achieve NASAâs missions, programs and research. Participation is open to industry, academia and small businesses. The agency and JPL support small businesses and seek to expand their supplier base for future technical requirements Registration is $125 per attendee. Pre-registration is highly recommended, as space is limited to the first 200 people. A block of 15 rooms are available at the rate of $162 single occupancy.
