Pursuant to 13.106-1(b), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)intends to negotiate a sole source purchase order with The Transportation Research Board (TRB) for the purchase of exhibit space in the 96^th Annual Conference taking place in Washington, DC from January 8^th through January 12^th , 2016 .

The 96^th Transportation Board Annual Conference is a Federal Highway Administrative co-sponsored event that provides seminars and meetings that address all transportation modes to include industry professionals within transportation.

No other source can satisfy this requirement as TRB is the sole provider of the 96^th Annual Conference, and no other source can provide such services.

The intent of this notice is not to request competitive proposals, and any information received from interested parties will only be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement should be conducted. However, interested parties may submit a description of their firm's capabilities for satisfying this requirement, which demonstrates they possess the ability to successfully perform this effort.
