The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has a requirement for 4,000 bags of Water Softener Salt Pellets packaged in 25 pound bags. The water softener pellets must be Morton’s #80 system saver large pellets (not fine granules) or an equal product. The bags must be palletized in accordance with standard commercial practice for shipping. The packing slip must contain BEP stock number 2A000573 and BEP purchase code. The Request for Quotation number is RFQ-05-0731. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF 1449 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS number, and size status (i.e., small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business).
