VA242-16-Q-0974-3 RFQ The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting offers under Request for Quote (RFQ) Number VA242-16-Q-0974-3 to perform the work to furnish bulk road salt to The Lyons VA Medical Center located at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, New Jersey 07939-5001. Please see the Statement of Work entailed within this solicitation for a complete breakdown of all required deliverables for this requirement. Contractor will furnish all labor, materials equipment and supplies necessary to perform the services entailed within the solicitation. Changes made within this contract now include the full SOW and more applicable clauses and provisions that were not included within the first posted solicitation. Due to the many changes and clarifications that have occurred within this solicitation, this new open timeframe for submission will be 2 weeks. This RFQ is hereby open from October 26, 2016 until closing on November 09, 2016 at 12 midnight. This acquisition implements a 100% set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). The NAICS Code is 212393; Size Standard is 500 employees. Offers received from concerns that are not SDVOSBs shall not be considered. SDVOSBs must be verified for ownership and control and listed in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to the due date for proposals. (See Provision 852.219-10 VA Notice of Total Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside.) The new opening date of this RFQ is now October 26th, 2016 and the new closing date is November 09, 2016.
