NA The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide 1500 (750 pairs) of U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Citation Authority Badges, consecutively numbered in duplicate pairs. The actual size of the badge is 2.26 inches by 1 .32 inches with a weight of approximately 1 ounce. Base metal (100 HE) heavy gold electroplate with a minimum thickness of 10 millionths of an inch of gold of a purity equal to or exceeding 18 karats or purer will be applied by the contractor. The badge wi ll be solid backed construction with a flat back. The castle logo shall be attached with a minimum of two swags, be centered, level and fit flush and shall consist of chrome plating over hot nickel. Badge dies, castle dies ands associated tools will be man ufactured to complete the manufacturing process and shall consist of two dies each for the badge and castle. The badge and castle tools and dies will become the property of the U.S. Government and shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer at the time t he delivery of the full order is made.
