The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOAD, Eglin AFB FL, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for 9158 Microwave SIGINT VME64X Tuner under the authority of FAR 13.106(a)(1) to DRS Signal Solutions, Inc.1 Milestone Center Ct Germantown, MD, 20876-7106. Anticipated award date is 30 Sep 15. to DRS Signal Solutions, Inc is the only company capable of fulfilling all the requirements of the government. It is within the best interest of the Government to go sole source. This requirement is for:

CLIN 0001: SI-9158/AC VME/VXS Microwave SIGINT Tuner 1 Each

These items must be delivered to: 36 EWS, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 no later than 150 Days ADC on an FOB Destination basis. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334220, small business size standard: 750 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The government will consider all responses received within 10 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
