NOTICE INVITING BIDS The City of Safford (City) is requesting Bids for the following: 8th Street Water Pipe, BID #66766 Sealed Bids will be received by the City Clerk at City Hall located at 717 W. Main Street Safford, Arizona 85546, until Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 2:00 pm local time. Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud on that day at 2:30 pm local time. Bids shall include all applicable taxes, and delivery to 373 W. Discovery Park Blvd., Safford, Arizona 85546. Bid requirements and specifications are available from the Materials Management Department or on the City’s website. The bid title, and bidder’s name and address shall appear on the outside of the sealed bid. Late bids will not be considered. Bids may be withdrawn before the bid opening by written request. The City of Safford reserves the right to accept the lowest, responsible bid; to consider alternatives; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or information in any bid. Bids received after the specified time of closing will be returned unopened. The City of Safford also reserves the right to hold any or all bids for a period of (60) days after the date of opening, Bidders will not be allowed to withdraw submitted bids during the sixty (60) day period.
