The United States Department of Agricultural (USDA), Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Commodity Procurement Branch (CPB), Poultry Programs, 1400 Independence Avenue, SW Room 3943-South Building, Washington, DC, 20250, is seeking to increase the agency's vendor base for qualified Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) who service under the NAICS Code - 311615 -- Poultry Processing; and 311999 ? Other Miscellaneous Food Manufacturing (Egg Products). The resulting list is intended to assist procurement officials within the agency in meeting our agency goal of 3% for FY 2008 awards. This office purchases Poultry Products for the National School Lunch and other domestic food nutrition assistance programs. Sources are sought for small businesses (under 500 employees) who are also manufacturers of Poultry and Egg Products. These commodities are purchased in truck load quantities (36,000 pounds to 40,000 pounds) for delivery to destinations nationwide. All product purchased by USDA must be of 100% domestic origin. Vendors are required to register into the Central Contractor Registration (CCR).
