Letter of Intent to sole source The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 6, Hampton VA 23667, intends to negotiate a Sole Source Firm-Fixed Price contract for an Yucatan Swine the Richmond VAMC, with Sinclair Bio- Resources. This procurement will be in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(13) and FAR 13.501(a), that permits the sole source acquisition of this name brand item. This is not a request for competitive offers and no solicitation is available. Market research has determined that this equipment is highly specialized and is only available via one source. The requested product will be procured without an unacceptable delay or duplication of cost and no other type of supply will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to award the contract with an effective date of January 02, 2020 to Sinclair Bio Resources, 562 State Road DD, Auxvasse, MO 65213. This is a Brand-Name Only requirement to satisfy the minimum requirements of the Richmond VAMC Research department. The requiring activity is currently in need of Yucatan swine is need for research of the IACUC approved protocol 02480 Validation of a Premature Ventricular Contraction-induced Cardiomyopathy on a Swine Model.
