The US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service in Pullman, WA has a requirement for the acquisition of horses for research. We require horses of specified size and weight, and health and disposition. Pre screening for infectious diseases such as Equine Infectious Anemia (Coggins Test) is paramount. Appropriate size is critical due to the limitations imposed by the size of our holding stalls. A supplier close to the ADRU facility is very important from the standpoint of health.
