This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number for this acquisition is F1JBAB7243A001. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12 (4 Aug 2006) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20060814. It is the Offeror?s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 112990 with a size standard of $0.75 Million. This commercial acquisition is for the purchase of eight (8) cynomologous monkeys (Macaca fascicularis), 3.0 ? 4.0 Kg, similar in age and body weight, 24 ? 36 months from a licensed non-human primate resource. These animals must have the following: 1. Testing Viral Profile, 2. Testing SRV / PCR, 3. Hepatitis A Vaccine, 4. Measles Vaccine. The type of contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. This procurement is to be processed using FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and in conjunction with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
