The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, is seeking sources that have expertise in the collection, propagation and planting of Cottonwood (Populus fremontii) and Willow (Salix gooddingii) trees. Stock for these species must originate from the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge on the lower Colorado River as defined by Reclamation. The planting site is located at the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge, near Blythe, California. There will be a minimum of 4,500 cottonwood/willow live plantings per acre for a total of approximately 20 acres. The NAICS code for this requirement is 111421 (Nursery & Tree Production), and the small business size standard is $750,000.00 (average gross receipts cannot exceed this amount over a three-year period).
