Granular monoammonium phosphate fertilizer for Redoubt Lake. Package fertilizer in water resistant bags. Each bag will contain 55 pounds or less of product. Product will be palletized as follows: 25 bags of product (1375 pounds) shall be shrink-wrapped and placed inside bulk-lift air cargo bags. Cargo bags containing shrink-wrapped fertilizer bags will be palletized and secured to pallets with 2 metal bands. Palletized loads will be loaded and secured in a sea-land type container so they do not shift during shipment to ensure that pallets can be unloaded with a fork lift. Fertilizer will be shipped to Sitka, AK via a barge line. Delivery by April 28, 2008. Contractor will contact Perry Edwards at 907-747-4220 to ensure heavy metal content, and packing and loading is as specified prior to shipment. Proper packing is essential.
