This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F2J00030520100 is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The NAICS code is 332999 and small business size standard is 500. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The government intends to issue a purchase order for delivery of 1000 USSTRATCOM badges with the new USSTRATCOM emblem made from registered pattern on file at The Institute of Heraldry (TIOH) meeting the guidelines and specifications set forth by the TIOH. Final design shall be verified by TIOH and USSTRATCOM / J072 Resource Advisor prior to delivery of badges. Approximate size of badges is 1-3/4 inches in diameter, raised surface, 3 colors, 3-prong backing, metal materials. Badges must be manufactured using registered pattern and colors approved and on file by TIOH. Badges must meet colors, size, and design set forth by the TIOH. Badges must be of uniform quality and must be manufactured by a source certified by the TIOH. Purchase of these badges must comply with 32 CFR Part 507 which requires that this type of heraldic item be produced by manufacturers certified by TIOH. Required delivery is 10 weeks after receipt of order. No partial quotes will be considered. No substitutes will be allowed.
