This Request for Information is for market research purposes only. Responses to this RFI are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Respondents shall not submit any proprietary information when responding to this RFI. Respondents shall also note that the Government will not return any information submitted in response to this RFI. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred by respondents regarding any responses to this RFI. Respondents must submit capability statements that clearly define the firm's ability to provide the items stated in this RFI. This requirement is for 1000 scarves to be delivered to Fort Myer, Virginia.

Each scarf should be 100% virgin wool, class 1, of tubular construction, bleached white. Cable #8001 is the standard color reference of American, Tenth Edition. Unscratched length shall be 50 inches, and single fold with of 81/2 inches. Ends finished with an overlook stitch with no fringe. The gauge of the stitching shall be 3/16 quote mark (+/- 1/16 quote mark ).

THIS RFI IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE. It is a market research tool (FAR Part 10) being used to determine potential business firms capable of providing the supply and/or services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote. The NAICS contemplated for this requirement is 315990 with a size standard of 500 employees.
