PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-11-RP-0196 for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for Isolation Gowns. VA purchases approximately 57,477 of these Isolation Gowns on an annual basis. Only one award will be made as a result of this solicitation. The Isolation Gowns are being procured as an SDVOSB set-aside. Therefore, all offerors products must be manufactured by a small domestic (or "outlying area") manufacturer. Outlying areas include Commonwealths: (i) Puerto Rico (ii) The Northern Mariana Islands. Territories: (i) American Samoa (ii) Guam (iii) U.S. Virgin Islands; and Minor outlying islands (i) Baker Island (ii) Howland Island (iii) Jarvis Island (iv) Johnston Atoll (v) Kingman Reef (vi) Midway Islands (vii) Navassa Island (viii) Palmyra Atoll (ix) Wake Atoll.
