Important Note on Foreign Content
The Defense appropriations and authorization acts and other statutes (including what is commonly referred to as âThe Berry Amendmentâ impose restrictions on the DoDâs acquisition of foreign products and services. Generally, Clothing and Textile items (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7012) and âspecialty metalsâ (as defined in DFARS clause 252.225-7014) must be grown, reprocessed, reused, melted or produced in the United States, its possessions or Puerto Rico, unless one of the DFARS 225.7002-2 exceptions applies.
This will be an Indefinite Delivery Type Contract with four option terms. This solicitation will include Best Value Source Selelction procedures with quantities (minimum/maximum)as follows: Man's All Weather Coat: Base(min/max): 7,080/35,370; Option years 1 through 4: 7,770/38,830. The quantities for the Woman's All Weather Coat are as follows: Base year: 190/940; Option year one: 480/2,370; Option Year two: 490/2,430; Option Year 3: 580/2,880 and Option year four: 620/3,090. A technical proposal including Product Demonstration Modesl, Past Performance/Experience, Bill and Hold, Socioeconomic Considerations, Mentoring Business Agreement and Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD) are included in the solicitation. The solicitation will be unrestricted. No GFM will be furnished; all materials in the production of these items will be furnished by the contractor. FOB Destination pricing applies.
