UNICOR intends to enter into a five (5) year firm fixed price requirements type contract for Cardboard for Milan Systems Furniture. Solicitation number is FN1268-07 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP). Cardboard comes in various lengths and widths. All packs will be made of Corrugated Fiberboard. The corrugated packs will be of double cover container (DC) and Design Style Container with Cover (DSC) design, adhering to the International Fiberboard Case Code: 03 Series (0310 & 0306 respectively). Stock to be 46BC, Kraft, plain printed for all packs. Delivery date requested 14 days after receipt of each delivery order. The minimum delivery order quantity 250 and maximum delivery order quantity 100,000. Quantity variation +/-10%.Offerors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none award basis. Offerors shall submit signed and dated offers to UNICOR, Federal Correctional Institution, 4002 E. Arkona Road, Milan, MI 48160, ATTN: Nancy Keeler. This information shall be displayed on the outside of the envelope with the solicitation number and offer closing date. All offerors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate proposals: List in order of importance: Past Performance, Specification, and price. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
