POLYURETHANE COATING

DESCRIPTION

In accordance with Military Specification MIL-DTL-53039D, "Coating, Aliphatic Polyurethane, Single Component, Chemical Agent Resistant", dated 24-JAN-2011.

QPL QUALIFICATION REQUIRED: QPL transformed to QPD, 06-MAR-2009. Please go to http://quicksearch.dla.mil/, and follow the steps below to view the QPD.

1. Input "53039" in Document Number field and click "Submit"
2. Click on the primary specification link in "Document ID" column.
3. Click on "Qualification" in the "Overview" section to view the QPD.

Use: To coat equipment surfaces so they can be easily and effectively decontaminated after exposure to liquid chemical agents.

Type 9: Max VOC content of 420 g/L (3.5 lbs/gal), VOHAP-free.

Color: Tan in accordance with the latest version of FED-STD-595, color number 33446.

Size: 3.79 liters (1 gallon)

Shelf Life Code 4: Age on delivery shall not exceed 2 months.
Date of reinspection shall be 12 months from date of manufacture.

(2) Specification number (Including type, class, and color number) as applicable.
(3) Manufacturer's name and part number.
(4) Lot and Batch Number.
(5) Date of Manufacture and date of expiration or reinspection (month and year).
(6) Instructions for use.
(7) Storage Instructions.
(8) Maximum Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Content (less water and exempt solvents) in grams per liter and pounds per gallon.
