This is a notice of intent of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) to negotiate a sole source contract with the San Diego County Sheriff Department, 9621 Ridgehaven CT., San Diego, CA 92123-1636. San Diego County Sheriff Department is the only known source within the San Diego, CA area that has the required technical capability of providing 800 MHZ Network System for police radios. This requirement will result in a Firm-Fixed price contract to San Diego County Sheriff Department for the period of performance December 01, 2013-Octorber 31, 2014. This requirement has a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) of 334220.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Interested parties have five (3) Calendar Day or until November 22, 2013 at 9:00AM EST to respond. Responses should be submitted in writing, to the identified point of contact, with clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide the required service. Such qualifications and/or capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Responses received after November 22, 2013 at 9:00AM EST, or without the required information, will be considered non-responsive to this sole source notice and will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to conduct this effort as a full-and-open competitive procurement, based upon responses to this notice, this is solely within the Government's discretion. All inquiries must be submitted in writing to Keeyada Dickens, Contract Specialist. Responses to this notice must be received by November 22, 2013 at 9:00AM EST.
