SLAC seeks vendors that can provide the following:
1 each of 7J 532nm 5Hz Nd: YAG laser with the following minimum specifications:
The laser architecture should be based on Nd:YAG heads flash lamp pumped and frequency doubling to generate a wavelength of 532nm.
Optical specifications at 532nm are: - Repetition rate: 5 Hz -
Energy: 7 Joules in a single beam output (i.e. without beams recombination) -
Pulse to Pulse energy stability: less than 1.2% rms - Pulse duration: less than 10 ns -
Top hat beam profile in near field
Other requirements: - Size of the optical head: less than 1.5m long and 1m wide -
Water to water chiller -
Software user interface to control the laser.
Ths is not a request for quote. Vendors interested in being considered as a potential source should identify themselves as an "interested party" via the FBO Portal. Do not contact the subcontract administrator.
