CABLE TV AND INTERNET SERVICES
SERVICES
PROVIDE:
The vendor shall provide cable TV service and internet service to the Erie VAMC main campus.
Estimated Period of Performance: Base plus 4 possible option years:
June 5, 2021 thru June 4, 2026
PROJECT SCOPE
GENERAL:
The vendor shall provide cable TV service and non-VA Network internet service to the Erie VAMC main campus. This shall include all labor, parts, modems, materials, cable utility infrastructure to facility/buildings, and travel required to provide 24/7 full-service activation and coverage.
SPECIFICS:
The vendor shall provide cable TV service and non-VA Network internet service to the Erie VAMC main campus.
Number of televisions to provide cable service to is 95 located in Bldg 1, 7, 8 and 14.
The type of service will be Basic and Standard TV. Channel lineup includes the stations listed below:

The service feed to Erie VAMC main campus will be digital with a digital to analog converter provided by the contractor.
The coaxial speed of the internet service is 100 Mbps.
Contractor shall be responsible for troubleshooting all equipment failures and shall notify the VA Contracting Officer s Representative for any disruption of service, which may exceed 48-hours from the original service call. Contractor must notify and provide verbal or detailed written service report to the VA Contracting Officer for any disruption of service, which exceeds 48-hours from the original service call receipt.
Defective cabling found outside the buildings shall be repaired or replaced by Contractor.
All contractor workers shall provide and utilize all safety requirements in accordance with OSHA regulations during all phases of work.
Work areas shall always be kept clean and free from debris and the contractor shall remove debris daily from the health care system property.
Contractor will not be allowed to use Government tools, materials, and/or labor.
Normal business hours are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. All federal holidays or any other day designated by the President as a national holiday are observed as non-work days. Any work performed outside of normal working hours shall be coordinated and approved by COR.
PRIVACY and SECURITY
EXPECTATION:
VA Privacy Training for Personnel Without Access to VA Computer Systems or Direct Access to or the Use of VA Sensitive Information must be completed prior to delivery of service and annually thereafter as long as the contract is in place.
The contractor shall provide to the VA COR a copy of the completed training certificate(s).
