General Description: The contractor shall provide all necessary equipment, transportation, manpower, supplies and services required for delivery and installation of a sauna at the Miesau Fitness Center, including: a. Removal and disposal of existing sauna b. Delivery and Onsite-Turnkey Installation of new sauna at the IAW following requirements 2. Specifications: - Outside Dimensions (approx. sizes only) Depth 210 cm Width 310 cm Height 206.5 cm - Cabinet construction Sandwich type with strong sub frame construction, jointed and glued wood, 100% non warping. Individual panels secured with tongue and groove joints. Interior paneling consisting of soft-line profiled boards with extra wide tongue and deep groove joints, in Scandinavian pine. The outside paneling of the front wall should be made with soft-line panels made from Scandinavian pine. All non-visible sides of the sauna should be covered with plywood. Should also use a high quality thermal insulation with a heavy gauge seem tape. - Door Wooden sauna door with solid wood frame, with triple rabbet. The door should be thermally insulated with a large double glazed window. Should also have wooden door handles. - Interior appointments The benches need to be arranged like steps and also need to be removable for easy cleaning. Heavy duty, extra wide, sap-free wood needs to be used to withstand excessive use. Benches need to be glued and screwed from the bottom. Ergonomic backrests and one headrest per bench needed. Robust heater fence and duckboard made of hygienic plastic. - Baseboards Baseboards need to be installed all the way around the entire sauna with tongue and groove joints. Baseboards need to be sealed with rubber to prevent humidity from entering and to compensate for the floor differences. - Venting Multiple locations, incorporated into the wall panels for draught-free ventilation able to exchange air up to 15 times. - Heater VDE approved, with base frame, top frame, heater brackets and stainless steel rock container. Rock container and rocks need to be provided. Has to have a connection for 230/400 VAC power supply. - Control unit VDE approved, microprocessor controlled with two line display, standard and customized programs, electronic temperature regulation, 24 hour timer, lighting and fan switches and a terminal for a SKS safety cover. - Accessories Thermometer, hour glass, sauna light, splash proof, sauna rules, wooden sauna bucket with ladle. Set of aromatic extracts and instruction booklet.
