Special order item: special wedge float QTY 1 EA. Adjustable hinge unit for 3ft wide QTY 8 EA. Adjustable hinge unit for 5ft wide QTY 12 EA. Adjustable hinge unit for 8ft wide QTY 2 EA. 8in tie rod, w/top pin QTY 4 EA. Coupling U-bolt assembly QTY 4 EA. Alumifloat, 6in diameter piling ring assembly QTY 19 EA. 6in mooring cleat, w/fastener QTY 40 EA. Boat fender, w/fasteners QTY 275 feet Alumifloat paneling QTY 832 feet. A contract for the aluminum floating dock will be awarded to Alumidock following no response back to this notice of intent. The purchase of the floating docks must be done through Alumidock because they are the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The aluminum dock must be compatible with, and not require modification to connect with the existing Alumidock system. This is a nonappropriated fund purchase and it does not obligate appropriated funds of the United States Government. Nonappropriated funds are generated by the military community through the sale of goods and services and the collection of fees and charges for participation in military community programs. This purchase does not involve federal tax dollars. Market research was conducted for the purchase of this floating dock and Alumidock is the only contractor found able to supply this item as we require. If no response to this notice is received by 12:00 PM EST on Friday, May 4, 2007, the award for this floating dock will be made to Alumidock.
