The 11th Contracting Squadron intends to solicit for a newly identified contracted requirement for a tuba and two mouthpieces, described as following: 0001: B & S Perantucci ‘Orchestra Model’, 'F' Tuba, Model Number Pt-10S - 4/4 size 'F' Tuba in Silver with fixed lead pipe and UniBal linkage; .745 inches to .825 inches graduated bore, Five (5) rotary valves; 16 5/8 inches Bell; 0002: Perantucci ‘American Style’ Tuba Mouthpiece, Model Number PT-48; 0003: Perantucci ‘German Style’ Tuba Mouthpiece, Model Number PT-64S. This requirement is for the USAF Band. Notice to Offerors: Funds are not presently available for this requirement. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. This acquisition will be accomplished in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A solicitation will be posted on/about 25 August 2004. This requirement is 100% set aside for small businesses. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 451140 and the SIC is 5736 with a size standard of $6.0 million.
