This synopsis shall serve as the Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration's notice of intent to issue a contract to LexisNexis Academic and Library Solutions for a base year subscription with two option years. This procurement will be made using other than full and open competition since the CIS Index and CIS Microfiche Library is proprietary and copyrighted to LexisNexis Academic and Library Solutions. The contractor shall provide both a subscription to the print CIS Index, and to the CIS Microfiche Library (which includes a 12 month set of print CIS Index and bound annual volume) of LexisNexis Academic and Library Solutions. The CIS Index provides an index to the hearings, prints, reports, documents and special publications of over 300 active House, Senate and Joint Congressional Committees. The CIS Index provides access to the congressional documents on microfiche by title, bill number, document number, committee, and other points of reference. A solicitation does not exist and responses are not anticipated.
