The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award, on a sole source basis, a commercial contract to John Wiley and Sons Inc. of Hoboken, NJ. The purpose of the contract is to provide multi-site access to electronic journals / books, and major clinical and scientific reference materials deemed critical and mission essential in supporting CDC scientists and researchers. The period of performance shall be for a twelve (12) month period. However, firms that believe they can provide the requisite access may submit a written notification of interest and capability to the Contracts Specialist within fifteen (15) days from the publication date of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
