The Social Security Administration intends to issue on a sole-source basis a firm fixed priced purchase order to Driver License Guide Company to renewal an electronic subscription Docutector, a document forgery detection database that will allow users access to obtain information that provide claim processors to detect and investigate fraud The period of performance is for a 12-months beginning January 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008. Under FAR Part 6.302-1 Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Simplified Acquisitions Procedures under FAR Part 13 will be used. Drivers License Guide Company is the only known source that can provide a document forgery detection database that provides exact replicas of official government identification credentials. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of the Government's intent to renew its subscription for Docutector. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response hereto will not be honored or acknowledged. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. If an acceptable response is not received within 3 business days of this announcement, an order will be issued to Drivers License Guide Company. Respondents should refer to 0951-07-1007.
