The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to award (pending internal approvals and clearances) a purchase order to duplicate the Medicare and You 2004 Handbook in Braille, on a sole source basis to American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, KY 40206-0085. The Contractor shall transcribe into Braille, proof, read, package, and distribute the Medicare and You 2004 Handbook. In addition, an estimated 2 to 7 new, revised/reprinted Medicare publications will need to be transcribed into Braille. All responsible sources may submit capability statements for consideration to the Agency at the above address.
