The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Knox intends to issue a solicitation (Invitation for Bids) for a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract for coffee mugs for US Army Accessions Cmd, Fort Knox, Kentucky. The applicable North American Industrial Classification system code (NAICS) code is 327112 with a size standard of 500. This solicitation will be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside; all responsible and responsive small businesses may submit an offer for consideration. The commodities under this requirement have been determined to be commercial in nature.

The contractor shall provide coffee mugs that are USA made. The mug shall be equal to H.F. Coors, Chief Mug, ceramic, blank, color: white, size: 15 oz, model number 1864. Mug shall be decorated with via Dye Sublimation, microwave, dishwasher and UV safe, and proposition 65 compliant, printed with the Army Camouflage Uniform (ACU) digital pattern.

This will be solicited via sealed bidding with bids due NLT 08 Mar at 1400 hrs EST. In order to be considered responsive, bid submissions will require written hard copy and a copy burned to CD. All bids shall be mailed to the following address or hand delivered to: MAJ Seth Blakeman, 1109 Spearhead Div Ave, Fort Knox, KY 40121. Bids will not be accepted after 1400 hours on 08 March and bid opening will occur promptly at 1400 hours.

The anticipated delivery of mugs is spread equally throughout 5 months. The Government anticipates release of the solicitation on or about 21 February 2012, with a projected closing date of 08 March 2012. These are projected dates and are subject to change. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued through the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be provided. A pre-production sample shall be required of the awardee before mass production.
