The purpose of the Amendment is to answer questions and to provide further information (see Contracting Officer s Statement at the end of this amendment): QUESTION: Will there be a Form 1449 or 1442 released with this contract? ANSWER: This requirement will be awarded on an SF-1449. QUESTION: Is there a Wage Determination? ANSWER: No wage determination needed (see Contracting Officer s Statement below) QUESTION: Is this considered a service contract? ANSWER: No, this is not a service contract (see Contracting Officer s Statement below) QUESTION: I wanted to confirm the correct square footage needed for each flooring.  Per the Amendment: QUETSION #3:  1 and 2 on the materials:  1.            QTY 124 Luxury Vinyl Tile Amtico Wild Walnut is that boxes or square yards needed?  2.            QTY 203 Luxury Vinyl Tile Amtico Cornish Oak is that boxes or square yards needed?  ANSWER #3:  The quantity is boxes of flooring needed. There are 45 square feet for per box.  My math gives me 5,580 SQFT for  Luxury Vinyl Tile Amtico Wild Walnut and 9,135 SQFT. Is this the correct square footage you need? Also, for item 5 QTY 42 is that quantity in boxes as well? if so, what is the square footage per pox? ANSWER: The quantity listed are boxes of flooring. That is correct square footage listed. That is also boxes for the carpet. CONTRACTING OFFICER S (CO) STATEMENT: This requirement was posted for carpet, flooring, receiving, delivery, and installation. The VA (my COR/POC) inadvertently sent the Statement of Need/Salient Characteristics to the CO with installation. This requirement is JUST for materials & delivery, a Commodity requirement, not a Service requirement. Due to this change, the site visit on 07/20/21 @ 1:00 p.m. was canceled. Please submit your quote for ONLY the materials & delivery, no installation required.
