The purpose of this modification is to correct the error in modification 2 which stated 8(a) certified contractors were eligible. As stated below only SDVOSB's are eligible for award. Modification 2 was only intended to change the response date. As maintained in Mod 3 the response date for this requirement is 10 September 2007.The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at MacDill AFB FL has a requirement for systems and case goods furniture. Specifics will be identified in the solicitation which is to be issued electronically on FEDBIZOPS on or about 30 July 2007. Interested parties will be responsible for obtaining a copy electronically as no paper copies will be furnished. All offerors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database, and provide a copy of FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items with offer or have the Representations and Certifications on file with ORCA. Offerors may obtain information on CCR and ORCA through http://ccr.gov. This requirement is 100% set aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. USSOCOM has a current inventory in-place for all furniture as follows: For systems furniture Haworth brand (usually the Premise and Places models, depending upon mission needs) of furniture with a standard grade fabric. For case goods (i.e. executive and freestanding furniture) the Kimball brand (Vienna Cherry wood finish) is utilized. Task chairs are normally the Gotcha model from National. Due to the office configuration or rank level of the office (i.e. Flag Officer) USSOCOM utilizes systems furniture from Kimball. In A/V intensive environments (i.e. video conference/electronic brainstorming rooms) USSOCOM has utilized the In-View brand. All proposed furniture must equal and match the standardized furniture listed herein. A portion of the requirement may not be funded and will be subject to a one year ordering option period subject to FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. Any questions concerning this requirement must be submitted in writing (fax or e-mail) to the listed point of contact. A site visit will be scheduled with the date specified in the solicitation. Offers may be mailed, emailed or faxed and must be received by the time and date listed in the solicitation to be considered for award; no late responses will be reviewed. The government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date. This requirement is contingent upon availability of funds per FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds, and FAR 52.232-19 Availability of Funds for the Next Fiscal Year.
