This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR 13 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
The internal RFQ number is N0018917Q0266. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-95 (effective 19 January 2017) and DFARS Publication Notice 20161222 (effective 22 December 2016). It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions.

The NAICS code is 337215 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses. The Small Business Office concurs with the set-aside determination. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract action from this solicitation.
The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing all materials and labor for renovations aboard the USS TRUXTUN (DDG-103) Officerââ¬â¢s Wardroom and Chief Petty Officerââ¬â¢s Mess. A MANDATORY site visit is scheduled for 30 August 2017 at 09:00 AM (EST). Interested Vendors will meet with shipââ¬â¢s representative and the contract specialist at the security check on the pier. Vendors not present for the site visit will not be considered.
The USS TRUXTUN (DDG-103) is currently located in Naval Station Norfolk Pier 5.
