2. Description of Supplies/Services:
The selected furniture vendor(s) will provide and install the following furniture and systems furniture shown within the attached floor plan and described within this Scope of Work.
The location of delivery and installation is Transatlantic Division Headquarters, 255 Fort Collier Road, Winchester, VA.
The required furniture and systems furniture listed within this Scope of Work are listed as BASE bid items and OPTION bid items. The Government withholds the right to exercise OPTION items purchases for a period of eight (8) months after the initial BASE purchase.
The furniture and systems furniture are itemized within this Scope of Work as WS1 through WS13, T1 through T5, F1, F2, task lights and C1.
There are nineteen (19) base bid items and ten (10) option items. The intent of the option is to provide the Government the right to reserve future purchase of like base item furniture and systems furniture. Two exceptions exist within WS9 and C1, which would be separate purchase items. The WS9 option must match the selected systems furniture of WS9-WS13 guidelines as prescribed within this Statement of Work.
Each offeror reserves the right to bid on multiple manufacturers per designated furniture item in accordance with the recommendations listed within this Scope of Work.
Each offeror should field verify all existing conditions and measurements prior to submitting their offer. Site visit schedule: Thursday 10 September 2009 1pm-2pm and Friday 11 September 2009 10am-11am.
