The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego Detachment, Seal Beach intends to solicit the following Xserver from Germane Systems, LC, Chantilly, VA on a sole source basis (11 ea) 520598 Xserve G5 M9215LL/A Cluster Node 2Ghz, (11 ea) 2 GB Apple Memory. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures using an oral request for quotation. Anticipated award date is 9/28/05. The proposed action is for supply for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The requested items will be used to. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The determination by the Government not to complete this requirement based upon responses to this notice soley within the discretion of the Government.
