NASA/LaRC has a requirement for VxWORKS VERSION 6.9, Qty; One (1) JOB.NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the item from Wind River Systems. Wind River System is thedeveloper and sole proprietary of VxWorks. The VxWorks software has been usedsuccessfully on several previous LaRC applications and ie required to continue work withMISSE-X development.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 08/31/2011. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
