A solicitation was posted in the GSA Integrated Technology Solutions Shop (ITSS) for Cisco VoIP equipment and software. The purpose of this posting is to comply with the requirements at FAR 6.302-1(c), FAR 6.305(a) and FAR 5.102(a)(6) which states 'when an acquisition contains brand name specifications, the contracting officer shall include with the solicitation the justification or documentation required by 6.302-1(c).' A copy of the solicitation was issued off the NASA SEWP IV contract (RFQ #29067) and in ITSS under ITSS ID#5TI47080277. Since FAR 5.201 requires posting on the GPE, a copy of the solicitation and brand name justification are also being posted here.
